As we head into the summer months, I am thinking of all the graduations, activities, summer camps, outreaches, sporting events and vacations we will all go to and participate in. With that in mind, New Life has had a strong start to the first half of the year in attendance of Sunday morning services and retreats, along with generous giving. This has resulted in many people finding Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and growing deeper in their relationships with God. As your pastor, I would like to encourage you to help me keep the momentum throughout the summer. You can do this by simply staying faithful in attending church when you are in town, and giving as the Lord continues to bless you. Thank you so much for your faithfulness!

 

This Sunday I hope to see you at one of our morning services at 9:00 & 10:30 AM. I will be sharing the last message of our Satisfied series titled "Are You Willing to Learn?" My prayer has been that, as a church, we are drawing closer to Jesus and finding the true secrets of the abundant life.

FIVE MILE RUNNING CLUB
Calling all walkers and runners! Please attend a short informational meeting this Sunday following 2nd service in Room 109. Learn more about our running program and upcoming events we are training for!

CHILDREN'S SPAGHETTI FUNDRAISER
Support Kid's Ministry! Stop by the Chapel after 2nd service this Sunday for a delicious spaghetti lunch. Only $5 per person gets you salad, bread, drink, spaghetti and a fabulous dessert! Pay at the door.

 

FAMILY VACATION REGISTRATION
Our annual Family Vacation at Lake Francis Resort is August 6th - 9th! Sign-ups and registration will begin next Sunday, June 7th, at 8:30 AM in the lobby. Information and materials are available this Sunday at Guest Services. Sign up early -- sites available are on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

FAMILY DAY WITH THE MONARCHS
All children, youth and parents are invited to Arco Arena to visit the Sacramento Monarchs on Saturday, June 6th, from 9:15 AM to 5:30 PM. This free event includes food, Monarch's game, backstage passes and more (sponsored by WalMart)! Spaces are limited, so sign up this Sunday at the children's counter downstairs by the Chapel.

 

HERITAGE CONCERT SERIES: HERB HENRY FAMILY
Our next Heritage Concert is Sunday, June 14th, at 5:00 PM. Come and be blessed by California's "First Family" of gospel music, The Herb Henry Family! There is no charge (love offering will be taken), so bring your family and friends.

 

FREEDOM CELEBRATION COMING JUNE 28TH!
Make plans to attend one of our most dynamic services of the year with special guest BJ Jackson! Our morning services will be followed with the biggest Block Party in Fair Oaks complete with food, fellowship and a fireworks demonstration -- 7:00 PM in the lower parking lot.
