Happy Mothers Day! I thank God for all of our moms, who sacrifice by cooking, cleaning, running the kids to and fro, volunteering at church or the little league snack bar, and all the other unexpected demands that come their way. Where would we be without their love and vested interest over the years? To all our moms -- we love you!
This Sunday you will hear the story of Jim and Thelma Billings -- a powerful story of triumph over tragedy involving the premature death of their son -- and how God is using their pain as a platform to touch the world with the healing power of Jesus Christ. Join us this Sunday at 9 AM or 10:30 AM for our Mother’s Day service. We will be taking time to pray for all our moms, so don’t miss this special time!

MEN'S SUMMER SOFTBALL LEAGUE
This Sunday will be the last day to pay for our Men's Softball league. No late sign-ups! Please register at Guest Services or online; cost is $40.
GUEST RECEPTION LUNCHEON
If you are new to New Life in the past six months, you are invited to a special luncheon hosted by the pastoral staff! Join us next Sunday, May 17th in the Chapel immediately following second service. Get a chance to know the pastors, as well as others new to the church. HERITAGE CONCERT SERIES
Our next Heritage Concert will be next Sunday, May 17th at 5:00 PM. Don't miss good ol' fashion Southern Gospel music by Herb Henry and the Richland Trio! There is no charge (love offering will be taken), so bring your family and friends!
HONORING OUR 2009 GRADUATES
We need pictures! We will be honoring all 2009 high school and college graduates at our 3rd Annual Youth Service on Sunday, June 7th. If you have a grad in the family, please submit their portraits no later than May 31st to Guest Services, the administrative offices, or e-mail them to sharon@aboutnewlife.com.
